Tim Fisher, Senior Vice President-Creative Director at Fry Hammond Barr
Orlando, Fla.
Tim graduated from the University of Central Florida in 1980 with a BA in fine arts and a specialization in graphic design. His first job out of college was as an art director in the advertising department of Ivey’s of Florida, a regional retail department store. While there he was responsible for photo and art direction for home and fashion catalogs, direct mail and newspaper and magazine advertising for 12 stores statewide.
He started Fisher/Robb in 1983, which was later recognized as one of the three “hot shop ad agencies” in the Southeast to watch by ADWEEK magazine. Following multiple years of highly publicized business and creative success, Fisher Robb was pursued by Minneapolis agency Carmichael Lynch, and purchased in 1989. After serving three years as Managing General Partner/Vice President Creative Services, Tim joined Anson/Stoner Advertising as Senior Vice President Creative Director. In March of 1993 he resigned and joined Fry Hammond Barr, where he now serves as Sr. Vice President-Executive Creative Director.
Tim is past President and board member of the Creative Club of Orlando, and member of the Orlando Advertising Federation since 1984 where he served on various board positions as well as Creative Chair for the clubs Addy award show on several occasions. In Tim’s thirty year career here in Orlando, he has volunteered for numerous public service projects and assignments as well as multiple advertising industry projects. He has served for many years on Valencia Community College’s Graphics Technology Advisory board.
In 2000 Tim received the OAF Silver Medal Award, which recognizes the advertising industry’s most valuable contributor and top community leader.
Susan Justice, Vice President of Marketing at Studio 101
Atlanta, Georgia
Susan Justice is Vice President of Marketing for Studio 101, a strategic design agency in Atlanta. With over 15 years of marketing communications experience, she has a well-rounded industry perspective having spent time in boutique and large agencies, and on the client side. Susan’s leading roles include account management, strategic planning, copy-writing and new business development. As a solid strategic thinker and savvy communicator, clients appreciate her consultative approach, intuition, curiosity and sense of humor.
Her strategic and creative firepower has helped brands such as The Coca-Cola Company, The Home Depot, The Hertz Corporation, Olive Garden, Georgia Aquarium, Cox Communications, Global Vehicles USA/Mahindra and Galderma Laboratories.
Susan graduated from the University of Georgia with aspirations of attending law school. As an intern with the Gwinnett County District Attorney’s office, she quickly realized law school was not as noble of a pursuit as she had once thought. She officially began her career as a public speaker, presenting crime prevention workshops to corporations, schools and non-profits throughout the Southeast. Susan then plunged head first into the wonderful world of advertising and marketing and never looked back.
Outside her career, Susan is an actress, superhero, voracious reader, movie buff, and avid college football fan. She is happiest when playing outdoors.
Shane Santiago, President, Chief Creative Officer at SBS Studios
Jacksonville, Fla.
SBS Studios founder, Shane Santiago, is a Florida native who grew up in Jacksonville Beach. He attended the University of Florida and received his Bachelor of Science in Advertising, and a diploma in Marketing Communications from the International Advertising Association (IAA).
Shane then tackled some of world’s largest brands at global advertising agency Ogilvy & Mather New York, as an art director working on IBM, Jaguar, Sears, Golf Digest, Kraft, and Perrier, to name a few. He then traveled to Baltimore, and after honing his craft on several interactive-based clientele at various ad agencies, Shane landed in Washington, DC and was named Vice President, Interactive Director at GMMB, an Omnicom-owned issue-and-cause-based marketing and communications firm. Having built the entire interactive capability at GMMB from the ground up, Shane worked with clients such as the Save Darfur Coalition, Association of American Medical Colleges, the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.
Shane is now focusing his attention on having SBS Studios leverage its “Madison Avenue” experience for businesses of all sizes, across multiple verticals and help them redefine creativity online. SBS Studios has recently worked with brands such as Comcast, Axe, Friendly’s, Sony Pictures, Paramount Pictures, Marriott International, The American Advertising Federation, The Ad Council, HBO and more.
