|Job Description and Major Responsibilities
Join our team at VISIT FLORIDA, the official tourism marketing corporation for the State of Florida, as an Assistant Media Buyer/Planner. The successful candidate will have excellent project management skills and work cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders. You will be responsible for planning and executing effective advertising media buys for all assigned domestic and international efforts along with assisting in the development of media plans and co-op programs with VISIT FLORIDA partners. You will contribute in the following ways:
+ Assist in the planning and execution of media including TV and Digital to execute the most effective buys that will meet the business objectives of our brand campaigns. Identify unique media buying opportunities. Assess added value opportunities, negotiate make-good media as needed or directed.
+ Assist in development of media strategy, media briefs and implementation of media.
+ Proactively monitor and optimize media for ad campaigns.
+ Co-ordinate co-op programs based on partner participation of media buys. Gather necessary assets and information from partners and agencies, traffic to production agency or traffic creative if needed. Develop post-buy reports for both brand and partner co-op campaigns. Secure post-buy information from media outlets and compile reporting.
+ Maintain accurate spending information and update as needed; manage all activity for media budget tracking and media value reporting.
