<p><strong>Member Recruitment and Marketing Manager:</strong><br />
The Florida Chamber of Commerce, “Florida’s Business Advocate,&#8221; seeks a Member Recruitment and Marketing Manager. Position executes administrative and member-facing outreach efforts – including planning, creating, and sending digital/printed materials while engaging members to accomplish enterprise goals. Additional duties include implementing marketing plans, responding to member queries (verbal or written), and providing support to multiple team members and to the Vice President of Corporate and Strategic Partnerships.</p>
<p><strong>Requirements:</strong><br />
Ideal candidate will have excellent written and oral communication skills, possess excellent organizational and follow through skills, demonstrate the ability to work independently, be customer service focused and have the ability to interface with all levels of staff and members effectively as a team player. Membership/Sales management experience preferred. Must be proficient with Microsoft office, including Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook.</p>

A statewide free enterprise organization is seeking a Communications Coordinator highly skilled in advocating a pro-jobs, pro-business agenda in the written format.</p>
<p><strong>Requirements:</strong><br />
The ideal candidate should be a skilled and dedicated writer accustomed to tight deadlines in a fast-paced work environment, have strong creative writing capabilities and be well-versed in Florida’s political process. Responsibilities will include researching, writing, proofing and editing various communications vehicles. This writing professional will work across multiple departments to achieve accurate, concise branded messages, be detail-oriented and maintain quality control of written products. Skilled applicants should have a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism, Communications, English, Political Science, Creative Writing or Public Relations or extensive experience in these related professional fields. 			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p style="text-align: left;" align="center"><strong>RFP TO RE-BRAND AND MARKET THE BROGAN</strong></p>
<p>The Mary Brogan Museum of Art and Science (The Brogan) has undergone a period of reinvention and is poised to reopen.  The Brogan seeks to provide STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) programs and experiences that enable its citizens to think, create and communicate effectively with a focus on supporting and promoting high student achievements in science.</p>
<p>The newly defined core will provide interactive experiences that will offer ways to explore through project-based exhibitions and programs, and will be executed by meaningful collaborations among our region&#8217;s stakeholders. The first priority will be vital programming for the benefit of students, teachers, and parents. The second is to build out The Brogan&#8217;s exhibit experiences, including a rooftop garden.</p>
<p>The Board is issuing this RFP for innovative branding and marketing services.  Proposals should consist of the following:  full marketing proposal for 12 months, including re-branding of the name and image of The Brogan.  The Board of Directors seeks highly creative and comprehensive proposals, and will accept proposals that also contemplate fundraising and public relations services.  As a 501(c)(3), in-kind consideration will also be scored.</p>
<p>Intent to submit a bid is requested by November 19, 2012.  All Proposals are due by 5:00 p.m. on December 3, 2012.  Please send proposals electronically to <a href="mailto:thanson@thebrogan.org">thanson@thebrogan.org</a></p>

<p><img class="alignleft size-medium wp-image-1284" title="AAFT Speaker - Lisa Colantuono" src="http://aaftallahassee.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/10/Lisa-Back2Back-Head-Shot-620x960.jpg" alt="AAFT Speaker - Lisa Colantuono" width="193" height="300" />Lisa has been immersed in advertising and marketing for the past 18 years.  Since June 2001, she has worked directly with dozens of marketers on agency reviews and has counseled many clients including Aruba Tourism Authority, Ben &amp; Jerry&#8217;s, Exxon Mobil, HGTV, Jergens, Jim Beam, Lee Jeans, Panera Bread, Subaru (to name only a few) on finding the best communications partners for their needs.  She not only believes in &#8220;enduring partnerships that matter,&#8221; but also is enthusiastic about creating them.  In addition to her role as a search consultant, she has co-founded Access Confidential in 2005, a newly created division of AAR North America.  The comprehensive new business research tool has not only become the go-to resource for hundreds of users&#8217; new business intelligence needs, but also has become the &#8220;web-based new business assistant&#8221; in the industry!  In response to agency consultation requests, she has also developed a new program specifically for the benefit of agencies&#8217; new business efforts, called smAARt insights.</p>
<p>She is dedicated to helping new business executives add &#8220;science to the art of new business.&#8221; Prior to her partnership at AAR North America, Lisa worked as a Communications Specialist, developing client-vendor relationships and promotional marketing programs for the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Metro New York.  She started her career working with global clients including Philip Morris, International Home Foods, and Colgate-Palmolive as both a Print Specialist and Senior Media Planner while at Young &amp; Rubicam, New York.</p>
<p>Lisa markets her own NAPPA award winning, e-commerce product, Classical Cradle, a collection of classical piano lullabies dedicated to new moms and their babies.  She is delighted to volunteer as a speaker for the AEF&#8217;s &#8216;Inside Advertising Speakers Program,&#8217; where she visits colleges<br />
and universities to speak to advertising students.  &#8221;Sharing in the Power of a Wish&#8221; has remained a part of her life by continuing as a volunteer for the Make-A-Wish Foundation.  Lisa is also enthusiastic about serving as a committee member for the International ANDY Awards since 2004 and passionate about volunteering as an NSAC judge for the AAF since 2009.</p>
<p>She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Advertising and Master of Arts degree in Communication Arts from New York Institute of Technology. Since 1998, she has been an Adjunct Professor of Advertising, teaching undergraduate media studies at NYIT.  In July 2007, she was invited into the Who&#8217;s Who Among American Teachers &amp; Educators.  Lisa also serves on NYIT&#8217;s Alumni Relations Board since 2008 and as First Vice President since June 2010.</p>
<p>In her spare time, you can usually find her &#8216;tickling the ivories&#8217; or teaching piano lessons to young, budding pianists as she has done since<br />
1987.</p>

H&amp;H has been in business in the Tallahassee market for 35 years where it originally started as an antique store and then evolved in to a full, custom Furniture store in 1994. He currently advertises in multiple platforms and finds mixed media and cohesive ad messages across those platforms, the most effective way to advertise. When asked what his results expectation was he replied that his number one goal was to sell more furniture TODAY.  So immediate R.O.I is his metric of success.  In his free time (ha!) he is an elected official on the Havana Town Council, has a seat on the Tourist Development Board ofGadsden County and is an appointed  Board member of  the Gadsden County Chamber of Commerce and River Way South.</p>
