The Out-of-Home (OOH) industry is changing constantly, just as technology and data play an increasingly important role in consumers’ interaction with advertising.  Ian Dallimore, Director of Innovation + Digital Strategy for Lamar Outdoor Advertising, will discuss the use of relevant creative, social media and mobile engagement as well as the use of data to make your advertising OOH message more relevant.  Throughout this presentation, he’ll speak from an industry perspective across all OOH media types and share successful campaigns that used a wide variety of capabilities to change creative content.

IanIan Dallimore 
Director of Innovation + Digital Strategy for Lamar Advertising Company

Ian Dallimore is a graduate of Louisiana State University with a bachelor’s degree in Business Marketing & Communications minor.  After graduating from LSU, Ian spent several years with the LSU Sports Marketing Program, and served as Director of Marketing for the Triple-A affiliate New Orleans Zephyrs baseball team.

In 2004, Ian began his career with Lamar in the Marketing Department focusing on Events & Sports Marketing. A year later, he transitioned to National Sales where he worked directly with OOH buyers & strategic teams for National agencies. Ian became Lamar’s first Digital OOH Strategist in 2007 and since then he has developed what Lamar Digital is today as well as heavily influencing the OOH industry. As Innovation + Digital Strategist, he interacts with national clients and agencies to devise strategic plans utilizing Digital OOH across all mediums including mobile, social and upcoming industry innovations. Ian also works hand-in-hand with Lamar’s Digital Network Operations to drive future new innovations through the use of technologies like across feeds and different social platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram as well as others. Among these previously developed channels, Ian is also on the forefront as the Chairman of the Innovations Committee for the Outdoor Advertising Association of America (OAAA).  Here he and the board exploring upcoming industry advances like programmatic buying, furthering the mobile conversation and creating media plans based on consumer brand interaction across these same social platforms and big data.
