Panelist Profiles:

Matt Thro is the owner of H&H Furniture and Design and co-owner of H&W Furnishings in Havana Florida.  Matt is a graduate of The University of Florida with undergraduate degrees in Economics and Zoology and a Masters in Business. H&H has been in business in the Tallahassee market for 35 years where it originally started as an antique store and then evolved in to a full, custom Furniture store in 1994. He currently advertises in multiple platforms and finds mixed media and cohesive ad messages across those platforms, the most effective way to advertise. When asked what his results expectation was he replied that his number one goal was to sell more furniture TODAY.  So immediate R.O.I is his metric of success.  In his free time (ha!) he is an elected official on the Havana Town Council, has a seat on the Tourist Development Board ofGadsden County and is an appointed  Board member of  the Gadsden County Chamber of Commerce and River Way South.

“Vowing never to work in a grocery store, Cristin Burns found herself with a career in natural foods. What began fourteen years ago as a job while in college, has grown into a passion for the cooperative movement and an obsession with local food. Cristin has held many positions at New Leaf Market; she currently serves as the Marketing and Project Manager.”

It’s been so long since we originally chatted about this. Can you remind me what I’m speaking about and where the luncheon is taking place? Last but not least, Diane will be my guest. Do I need to do anything other than tell you?
